My first Ecuadorian delivery

Last year in September I was in San Lorenzo to work with Jane and had the privilege of delivering a baby. The mother was Angelita’s daughter and she gave birth to a little girl. At lunch she came by for me to see her little daughter, now 14 months old and still on breast milk only.

The mother brought me a gift consisting of a double frame holding 5×7 pictures, one of me holding the newborn baby right after birth and one of the little girl at 1 year of age.
