Pictures — Today’s surgery (Graphic!)
I am including a couple pictures of the first surgery where we removed a very large uterine mass. Be warned…these pictures are fairly graphic. If you don’t like the sight of blood or sight of surgery, just avoid looking at this page.
The uterine fibroids creating this huge mass. The uterus is still inside the abdomen. These were growing out of the top and back side of the uterus.
We have the entire mass plus uterus in our hands. The clamp is on the uterus, a small part of the overall mass.
